Medical Fitness Standards

GCC countries have specific medical fitness standards. The following conditions may affect your medical clearance:

  • Communicable Diseases: Active tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B or C, Syphilis, and other infectious diseases will result in medical unfitness.
  • Chronic Illnesses: Uncontrolled diabetes, severe hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, or liver disease may affect clearance.
  • Mental Health: Severe psychiatric conditions or substance abuse disorders may be grounds for rejection.
  • Pregnancy: For certain job categories, pregnancy may temporarily defer employment. This varies by employer and country.
  • Drug Use: Evidence of illegal drug use will result in immediate disqualification.
Note: If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, it's advisable to bring medical reports from your treating physician to help the examining doctor make an accurate assessment.

  • Unfit Results: If any abnormalities are detected, you'll be notified and may be required to undergo additional tests or treatment.
